Hi peter everything looks great. I have a quick question for you about a pepper you sent me in one of my orders for free named billy goat. When I look this up I see a couple different versions of pepper named billy goat. Could you tell me or better yet do you have a pic of what I could expect from the seeds? The plants look great and are just starting to set pods here. Thanks for any help Devan in Maine.

This is the picture that corresponds to the seeds you got:

Peppers are drop shaped and maturing from pale yellow to red.

For sure there are others in the web not true to type

Great pods that Jigsaw , they taste like Naga ? I had last year Naga Morich from your stock and it was great .Unfortunately I have not keept seeds .

Jigsaw is very Naga related, but so far I don´t have a mature Naga type to compare.
Jukka Kilpinen doesn´t say what he crossed with Moruga and I personally doubt that a Moruga was a parent of that cross.
Seeds are Naga type as well. I had a large number of black seeds in the first lot and only a few good ones.

Shape and color transition reminds me of Bhut Jolokia Indian Carbon as well... is it thin walled?

Yes, it´s thin walled and from the first pods I´d say it´s a large Naga/Bhut

New greenhouse now with about 300 plants:

And a number of good crops:

Bhut X PDN (Capsicum chinense)
Plants are fast growing with only a few branches. Pods start dark green-black and are dark red when mature
I will prune down the plants to get better branching and better fruit setting
Not very hot and onla a short aromatic smell.

Volcan de Teneguia (Capsicum baccatum ssp. pendulum)
Very large good branched plants
Flowers have a strong smell at evening.
High yields of a medium sized Ají that has medium heat

Brazilian Red Olive (Capsicum baccatum ssp. pendulum)
Very large plants with a very good crop of olive sized berries.
Medium heat

Bonda Ma Jacques (Capsicum chinense)
One of my favourites regarding habanero heat and very good taste

Rio Ronuro Hot (Capsicum chinense) aka CGN 20803
Perfectly branched small shrubs with loads of small (max 1 inch) pumpkin shaped pods.
Pods a very hot and are good for filling with any fresh cheese - herb mixture (if you like it hot!)

Like the looks of this one. Is this the true pheno for a chocolate devil's tongue? I grew some last year and they were very hot and bumpier than this, almost like a small bhut or something, but might have been a cross mabye.

All 6 plants I grow have pods with the same shape.

I don´t know who selected / crossed this variety.

Rocoto Marlene isn´t new this year, in stock since summer 2014

Rocoto Gelbe Riesen = Giant Yellow
Rocoto Java HW = A Rocoto detected at Java
Rocoto Ultra Pube = PI 585261

will be new in our stock, where Ultra Pube has been available since years from other sources.
