Show Us Your Pubes! Group GLOG From The Rocoto Giveaway

I am starting this thread for folks who received some Pubescens seeds from me through the Pubescens giveaway. I figured it would be fun to see everyone's progress, plus have a general place to share any pics, growing techniques, and general Pubescens knowledge. I wish everyone great success in their gardens this year.

Even if you didn't receive seeds from me, and want to contribute info about your Pubescens plants this year, please feel free to share.

KAROO, they'll definitely make it, here in the 031 it's getting colder but as long as your temps dont go below 0. If you're worried you could always stick those foil heat mats to the container to keep the soil warm
 
Update on my pubes.  On two of my Mini Red Rocotos, I have pods.  These have not been moved outside yet and I have to say I don't know if I should move them out.  In NJ, it gets pretty hot during the summer.  I don't really have a good shady area to put them outside.  Is it the shade they want or do they want it cooler in temp?  I am afraid to move these plants outside and then have them drop all of the flowers and pods.
 
This is a pic of all four of them.  The one that was neglected is now looking good and started to put out buds.

I have had the best luck with red Rocotos by growing
them in dappled shade under a Red Osier Dogwood.
They seem to do well there even in the heat.
 
But ideally, they like cooler temps.

Thanks!  I think I will just pot up and keep them inside for awhile. I did pick up a Yellow Rocoto from CCN.  I will keep that one outside in the shade.  If it starts doing well, then maybe I will move the rest out.  I want to take things with extreme caution because I really want pods from these plants and they seem to like my basement right now.  Plus, I don't have a Red Osier Dogwood in my yard.
