SnF's Feastival!

Last night I made some poppers.

8oz brick cream cheese, softened
1 lb jalas
2 slices cooked bacon, chopped
4 oz shredded cheese
4 oz fire roasted salsa (home made)
 
Slice the jalas lengthwise and gut them.  Keep stem on, it serves as a handle.
 
 
 
all hollowed out and ready to stuff!
 
 
 
Mix the softened cream cheese with the bacon, shredded cheese and salsa.  Stir well to combine.
 
 
 
Get a spoon and make with the stuffing!!  Here they are ready to go topped with a bit of smoked jala powder:
 
 
 
And now to the grill we go!
 
 
 
Gently remove the poppers about 20-30 minutes later and plate.

good thing poetry doesn't have to rhyme.   :lol:  Does TB get one of those Roman laurel 1/2-crown thingys?
 
 
And now that you mention it....TB has been seriously negligent in piccy posting. 
 
The popper poems are classics tho.......... :lol:

No thanks to PhotoDick that half the time won't upload without dumping me because
 
hey have so much streaming crap there's just not enough pipe to push it all through.
 
Just tonight I tried for about 45 minutes to upload pics of last nights quinoa/salmon burgers.
 
I should really get another middleman for posting pics.

Good food porn. Looks great! Naan looks delicious as well. Never made bread before. Sounds intimidating. Oh wait, there was that pizza dough I made in home economics back in the 7th grade. You could have used it as plaster. I will have to give it a shot. I make curries and it's not the same without fresh naan.

I saved it and opened it a changed the WB and it sprang to life ...
 
The algo's pulled the colors cool, probably because of the flower getting weighted heavily for being central ...
 
Food looks great, especially a little warmer ...
