SOBRIETY SUCKS!!!

If a man says he has never taken a drink, he is either dead or a liar...

The Fine Line

I walk a fine line between control and full blown addiction.
I always end up taking a break from alcohol because of one or more of the following:
1) I am afraid it will control me.
2) Alcoholism runs in my family.
3) I get completely worn down.
4) I want it to always be a novelty, not a bad habit.

That being said, I always look forward to going back and drinking again. But I have to be careful. It's a powerful drug.

Seriously, those are the reasons i backed off of the vodka and gin quite a bit. Beer doesnt manage to wrap it's fingers around me like the heavier stuff does.

My friend told me this one, and now I use it all the time:
"I am not an alcoholic, I’m a drunk. An alcoholic means that I have a problem and when I drink all my problems go away."

I found a good way to limit my alcohol intake was to only drink on days that have the letter 'Y' in it.

I have been a lot better since i started following that rule....

You're absoluetely correct. I've been a member for AAA for 7 years now. I always call them to pull my car out of a ditch when ever I'm drunk.

Nice. Thats makes it worth the money right there.

When I drink I am quite a happy drunk. I do tend to get a bit lewd and suggestive. I don't actually do it. I just suggest it.

Cheers, TB.
