MegaMaster71, I have struggled a lot to find many 'super hot' yellow pods. The original sender of these yellow bhuts, AsiaGarden, did have one strain I'd consider close to super hot after tasting last year. Unfortunately, no matter how many plants of this variety I grow, my pods never look exactly like the originals he sent (even taken from the same pod!!). :( Obviously, it is very unstable.

Just stumbled onto this, and WOW. Awesome pictures, pods, and plants man.
That Trinidad scorpion x bih jolokia assam looks ridiculous!
Theres so many little pods on those last plants..
It's gotta be a part time job harvesting all those!

The Neyde is no longer alone: lol:

I waited a long time to see what color would take out this strange black pepper immature but not the classical form of Neyde .....

Today I checked tired of waiting ... it was overripe ... and very dark

I opened it .... filled with the placenta and mesocarp thin

Unfortunately the taste was minimal (1 mm 2) ... I was bad stomach these days .... but more than sufficient to establish that it is a very hot chili ... and a remarkable persistence

here are the pictures

Some nice pics of unusual pods Marco, great work,

I've been missing this thread for some reason the forum hasn't been notifying me of new updates?

Hey Megamastger,
I have to start taking foto's of my Peppers at night.
These are awesome. The black background adds a neat dimension to them.
Fiery Regards,

Yes that black one is definitely cool lookin. Amazed that it didn't turn red! The contrast between the inside and outside is simply breathtaking. Maybe you can replicate it next year.

Beautiful pictures as always Marco.

You said the "strange black pepper" was overripe when you picked it. How can you tell when it's ripe if it doesn't change color?

Thanks.
