Wow amazing photos. When my grandfather died we found a bunch of his old war stuff in a trunk. He had several photos, but the most important one was a photo of the Enola Gay at night on the Tinian Island. He was one of the men stationed on the island and was assigned night watch of the plan. The only thing they where told was the plan held a bomb called "Little Boy".

We all know the rest.
 
cool pics both of you, I also find WWII interesting. if you haven't seen it or bought it - world at war - is a great WWII documentary!

Dang...amazing images..some are downright scary.

Seems a number of them are hand-coloured too.

That was a popular thing to do in that era...my mom did that as a hobby when she was a girl back in the 30's and 40's.

WOW! The most comprehensive set of pics I've ever seen charting the history of the third reich - there all there Himmler,Bormann that fat cross-dresser Goring. Pic 75 is Hitler giving Karl Donitz (to Hitler's right) the title of Grand Admiral of Kriegsmarine (navy). I like pic 85, check out the shitty look Benito Mussolini is shooting Hitler. Speaks volumes about their relationship.
