Fillet Mignon marinated in lime juice and seasoned with sea salt, cracked pepper, and a little steak rub
Sliced portabella mushroom caps sauteed in butter
Grilled asparagus (salt, pepper, olive oil... no lemon juice this time)
Baked tater with the fixin's. No bacon because I'm lazy.

Ingredients: Fish Sauce, Salt and Black Pepper, Thai Chili Oil, Mint, Thai Basil, pinner Thai Chili's.....Galangal Root, Korean Leeks, Lemon, Parsley, Culantro, Garlic

looks like galangal to me..   I would take a pic of the piece I have in the fridge but I think it is starting to turn blue with mold  and not just be blue ginger.  :P

that is actually why I bought it but didn't get around to making it.  The lemongrass went south awhile ago but I was hoping to get around to it before the galangal crapped out.   lucky in that it is easy to find and cheap here, lots of Asian grocery stores.
