If they don't grow true hopefully they grow something really cool  :P   I just hope it's not like the pink tiger where so many were planted and few to none had stripes like the pics on mojo's site of the correct pheno.
Yeah, I'll just be happy if I get an orange pod with a nice bleeing calyxy and some decent heat and taste.  I know a ways back Enrico claims the secret to his stripe is an Osmocote fertilizer that is apparently only available in Europe and while I don't remember the details he even gave the formula, was a certain amount per liter of soil in a pot.  Also read about the amount of sunlight making a difference.  I will just plant them and see what happens.  Maybe I will put some of the US Oscmocote for veggies around this one.  I think I still have some, use mostly some organic stuff these days but might give osmocote a shot, probably won't matter but won't hurt either.

Same here the orangegum is really cool looking. I read about the osmocote, but I've also seen pics from other growers where he is grow the exact same pepper in the exact same conditions with osmocote and had no stripes, but what you gonna do. Part of the fun Imguess. I'm growing pink tiger again some from mojo and some from Tony(scorched) his PT were some of the nicer I've seen. I think I like growing peppers almost more then eating them..lol Cheers

Nice list Bum. Can't wait to see if all those gums grow true. The red are such a great pepper. Super productive for me too. Good luck this season.

Are you building up your pho broth from dried shrimp/anchovy/sardines and like kombu, or using the suppe, or ? ...

Recipe is in your bbq thread, proteins and veggies and toasted spices into the pot bring to boil. Turn heat off,let sit 40 min. Take your proteins out and continue to simmer for around 3 hours. Any bones go back into pot. I double strain and skim the fat.
