I was making a drink while it sat under the broiler, apparently that drink took too long to make . I will try that technique next time I make them. As for the leftovers for lunch, I have another idea for themHopsNBarley said:Nice sandwich! And fries as well.
The broiler is sometimes tricky to control and if your not watching closely you get fire alarms going off.

Try tenting the sandwich with foil and baking to get the cheese started melting and then full force onslaught of the broiler to finish.
