And just where is this magical alleged apple button?

It looks like this one

I'm telling you though, the best thing for you to do is hit it with a hammer. Much easier and SOOOO much more satisfying. Don't even get me started on cross platform compatibility with things like Word or Excel!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! TB Unfail!

OK, so the apple button is the one just to the left of the space bar with the little apple on it. There's also a little symbol on it that looks like it might mean "the hole that shall not be entered" in Hindi too.

Did you figure out how to open two tabs dude? That's pretty much crucial to the operation of that modern machine of yours.

Any more problems, I'll do my best to help. Whenever my drunk ass is on here, I'm on a mac, so I'm lookin at what you've got in front of you.

BTW, nice fish cakes TB! Capers and sweet chili sauce?

WIN!

I got the $999.00 Macbook. Apparently not enough money to warrant an apple symbol on a button. The tab and window 'thang is easy. What was throwing me was the cut and paste with no right click. My neanderthal brain could not wrap itself around the concept of it...plus no volume knobs or tubes...plumb evaded me i reckon.

Between figuring out that 'thang and top wrapping a flying V...I'm wore out..the 111 degree heat today didn't help either...where 'da hoskies at?

Salute', TB.

What? No apple button? Post pics of the keyboard fool! I'll figure this shit out for ya!

Wait, does the keyboard look like this?

MacBookProKeyboard.jpg

If so, it's still the key right next to the space bar that you want to hold down while pressing "C" to copy, and "V" to paste. Should say command or something on it, and have that little hoodinger symbol. Hell, if this doesn't work, and all else fails, click the edit menu up top and see what combination of symbols and letters is next to the word copy. Whatever it is, Hold the first symbol, press the second one, and you should have copied the shit you just highlighted.

DON'T QUIT NOW TURD BURGLAR!

AJ's Texas Red, Worth Revisiting!

I found this recipe a while back. Had to give it a shot. It was a nice cool day here in Miami, I figured it was a good time to break out a nice hearty chili.
Naturally, I invited Sumofmybits over for some vittles, and thirded the recipe.
Busch light is $2.19 for a 4 pack of tall boys at the grocery store, so I got a BUNCH of them (thats a 12 pack of 16 ounce beers for under $7). I know it's crappy. You don't have to tell me. It still does the trick after quite a few.

Here's the chili cooking.

And...the money shot. I added a dollop of sour cream and some shredded monterey jack and some fritos. That's how I roll.

Me and Sum makes some mean stuff. Wish you all could have a bowl of this goodness! Well done Alabama Jack, I enjoyed this recipe, thanks for sharing!

frydad..that is just plain downhome goodness sir! Down in the Rio Grande Valley we take that chili and pour it over a bowl of fritos just like that...Frito Pie! Just proves you don't have to be a Texan to cook like one. I say you Florida boys do just fine.

Yep. Looking good. Chili, in July, in Miami, who'da thunk it?

Spoken like a true YANKEE! We had a cold front roll through Vegas today...only got to 107. After those pics I'm thinkin' about chili too!

Salute', TB.

AJ's red looks like the best chili I've ever seen. Thanks for posting that pic.

Thanks for the comments, it was really good. I think we ate it when it was too hot because there is a layer of dead skin surrounding my cheek and gums, upper esophagus and large intestine. Oh well. Thats where the beer came in. They don't call it drunken chef for nothing.

Though I'm Miami born and bred, I have family in Hockley and Tomball, Texas, which is outside of Houston. Maybe that's why the chili came out good.

I see some good grease in it. Yes I said "good grease" for all you non believers. Good grease is usually orange ;)

I love chili when I'm out hunting. There's nothing better than a big steaming bowl of chili when you're sitting in the bush on a cold frosty day. It really takes the chill out of the air.

And yes, there is good grease in chili. I like to sop it up with a buttered crusty roll. FANTASTIC! Damn, now I'm going to have to try my hand at making some chili...

Awesome

You have officially made me jealous that I was not there to partake.

This was a good chili and definitely some crappy beer consumed in mass quantities! Cheers AJ to a well worked recipe. I use beans in my chili. I've heard there is a fine line between using beans and no beans. Where is this line, and what's wrong with beans? I think I make a pretty mean chili (with beans), am I wrong?

Ohhhhhhhhh no! I know this isn't the right place to post this, but are we looking at a chili throwdown after Mac'N'cheese?
