obtained: 1.75 lbs of fresh grouper from the local fish market, and panko ...

looks like we'll be pan frying some grouper fingers tonight ... this will be a first ...

grouper is expensive ...

I'm still cruising the tubes for something that stands out above the rest for the initial attempts ...

It's looking like we might two-way it ... perhaps fry the 1 lb fillet in the form of panko breaded fingers and cook the .75 lb fillet blackened in the oven or sous vide ...
 
I believe I'm going to self-impose a 3 drink minimum on DC posting to be more consistent w/ everyone else, and post my sub-quota meals in a different thread perhaps ...

Obviously that position has since been relaxed the and policy not enforced for good reason.

Yes, I think posting while slightly tipsy puts some of us heavy hitters at a disadvantage!
It's missing the spirit of thangs, ya know?!

I'm such a slow cooker, that I start out my meal prep with one tiny glass of innocent wine.....
...but by the time I'm finished with the cookin' part...might be lucky to find the camera!
