First time using a unglazed terracotta tray intended for plants as a pizza stone or any pizza stone for that matter:

Turned out pretty good for a first time using anything that look like this stone for making pizza other than a woodfired oven with not so good results. I have to find larger terracotta trays, as this one is a bit too small for my liking.

That pizza looks delicioso as is.

The damn 'thang about pizza is this.

You get home from work and you're tired as hell.

9pm you order delivery pizza.

Its just okay.

For cardboard skank that doesn't have a soul.

You eat 2 slices anyway and toss the box in the fridge.

Now its 2am.

And you're maybe a little lit.

More likely drunk as hell.

Nuke a coupla' leftover slices.

Splooge some hot sauce.

Now its the best pizza you ever ate.

Kinda' like date night.

Only without all the begging and the sounds of cats being strangled.

Why does his pizza remind you of ordering crap pizza and nuking it to the sounds of cat sex?

I think it must be 2 am there bud.

Been awhile....decided to make a Sicilian pie today. I do not have the proper pan for this, so I improvise with my CI skillets. So just pretend it is square.

Pretty damn good. Nice crunchy crust, cooked it a tad to long, but there was no burnt taste. The dough was light and airy.

First attempt at pizza in the Weber. Had problems with the coals getting hot enough, bloody must've been sitting too long and absorbed moisture or some shit. Took 2 hours for what should've taken 30 mins max too cook both.

This was done on a pizza stone

this one was too big for the stone so was done in a tray while the stone heated up
