They are always first Friday of the month, next month that is Feb 5, Super Bowl is that weekend, hence, Bread Bowl, whereyabeen????

You are supposed to be my cheerleader now cheeer!

Holy crap. I just checked my little wallet schedule for the year (work). I have that whole weekend off! YAY!!! I get to watch the Superbowl and cook for a throwdown. Now I just have to come up with something creative. I need to go back and see what this bread bowl thing is all about. I have a bread maker that has been collecting dust for over a year. I think it is time to bring it back out. I am thinking a loaf of beer bread hollowed out and filled with some spicy crab dip would be a great start. I do not plan on stuffing anything with any sausage. I am thinking some soups and breads and dips would be a good way to go. Maybe some chili. So many possibilities.

Oh an boss, I am SOOOO taking your bet. The plans on the BGE are coming together. I am aiming for March. I plan on getting the Egg and building a stand for it with my dad's help. He is retired and an excellent wood worker. He would love the project and it would save me the $600 they charge for theirs. I will buy all the accessories a few at a time over the Summer. I'll take the Plinko chips please. If you want to give a massage, I'll let GM have it. He's probably a bit tense with all the work he does. My tension is floating away right now. I am drinking it away with pickle shots.
I didn't even think of the stromboli. I do make a mean one. Like I said so many possibilities. Wanna do a pickle shot CJ?

Jay T  -   don't forget you will need a piece of granite or maybe a paver between the bottom of the egg and your wooden stand.   Friend  of mine ended up getting a free piece granite offcut  from a Memorial stone company when he made his table.

Hmm the ones I have seen have a hole in the wood and the egg just sits in there. It is quite a bit below the fire so I don't think it is hot enough to harm the wood, but I will check into that. Thanks.
