No snakes and crocodiles here, but me any my wife went biking to the sea on thursday... it was about 120km one way... back with train and another 25km back from that station. Nice ride, traffic on the old main road (it is around 20 years I think, since highway was opened) was almost OK to handle.
it was quite nice, almost too cold for this time of year. I expected to be hot but it was cloudy almost the whole way to the sea.

Today we went to get some trouts.. they were quite hungry and we've got ourselves a few nice ones
and they are already prepped for tomorrow lunch

I was in a track meet today and started off with the long jump. I just started learning it in August last year then, of course, had almost no practice once the winter cold and snow hit. So I'm still in newbie phase, and am just not consistent yet. Still, I've been jumping just shy of the 10 ft. mark and I was hoping to at least hit it today - I'd be super-happy with 10 ft 1/2 in. The meet today was measured in meters. First jump was 2.9m, second was 2.85m. Last two jumps were both 3.9m - wow! - that's a little over 12 ft! I'm finally starting to feel like I'm getting the hang of it. Yay!
I also ran the 100m and 200m dashes, but no biggies there. I was happy with my times, just they were rather anti-climatic after the jumps. Still - yay for the jumps!
