Spotted yesterday in Bonita Canyon, Chiricahua National Park, Az.
It looks like the Sonoran Mountain Kingsnake, alright. Looked up the two rattlers - both are really beautiful snakes. Too bad you didn't spot any. Been to Chiricahua a couple of times but never with enough time to really explore. We were hoping to spot some of Chiricahua's exotic vipers, the Twin Spotted or Rock Rattlesnakes. Unfortunately, none were encountered.
It looks like the Sonoran Mountain Kingsnake, alright. Looked up the two rattlers - both are really beautiful snakes. Too bad you didn't spot any. Been to Chiricahua a couple of times but never with enough time to really explore. Yellowfin2na said:Then this Cottonwood Borer Longhorn Beetle showed up at my house today. Did the research and found out it is one of the largest insects in North america. Really friendly and doesn't make a horibble smell when handled!! Lol
