Wow! You are killing it! Everything looks outrageously delicious!
Thanks! That octopus with aji limo and garlic aoli was seriously epic. Some of the best octopus I've ever made, without a doubt. The sauce really enhanced the octopus to the next level. Perfectly tender, not chewy whatsoever.

I like it when I have an idea for a dish, and comes out even better than I imagined

Tiger prawns broiled with a garlic and butter topping & drizzled with an aji limo/garlic aoli, fettuccini with rocoto marinara & topped with crumbled queso fresco, and fried garden okra topped with crumbled queso fresco.

Congrats on the new addition Brother!!! You are living right and killing it with these awesome meals. Here's to a happy, healthy Mom and baby!!!

Tom Kha

Chicken broth, coconut milk, fresh ginger, lemon grass, and thai red curry paste broth.

Chicken thighs, Shiitake mushrooms, straw mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, bamboo shoots, baby corn, and water chestnuts for the substinence.

It's hard to take a picture of this dish, because everything is contained undernearth the delicious broth. I took this pic before ladeling a few more large scoops of broth into this bowl. Sooo good on a chilly and rainy Fall day!

Oh! Well I'm sure the ginger worked just as well, some people will swear they are the same anyway. ;)
Yeah, it worked out pretty well. It's interesting the way every culture has it's own wives tales about pregnancy.

My wife was telling me the other day about how it's recommended in Vietnamese culture for the woman not to bathe, and follow this strict regimen for a whole month postpartum

Funny how she never brought this up to me, until she was entering her second trimester!

IDK if she is going to follow this regimen to a T, but I know her mom was talking to her about it the other day...
