vincent's 2013 season ***10/22/13 SUPER HUGE MEGA 40ish PICTURE UPDATE***

Well well well. Here we are again folks. Spent the last couple days getting everything all set up how i would like it to be (heat mat temps, lights hanging in right position, and the never ending task of finalizing a grow list. But i think ive done it...lol. i will be using a hydrofarm 4ft, 6 bulb, T5 fixture along with a heat mat set to88 F. I did not soak seeds overnight as i did last season so ill see if it makes a difference. Im putting litt. Ms. Oriah down for a nap at the moment but will post the final grow list here shortly

Pics to follow my friends.

Nice update Vincent...

After reading Jamison's post/thread about pruning, I went out back with a scissor, now half of my plants are "bald"
I guess I'm not the only one.

Hehe.
Nice.
Mine look about the same----except still in 3.5" pots.

On life support with hydro nutes every other watering. (like, every 4th day)

Awaiting a portable greenhouse (supposed to arrive today, but delayed till friday) to get them in dirt before they fall over.

Highs in the low 60's and lows still dip below freezing some nights.

We're doggin' it here, Lol! Daytime highs anywhere from the 50's to the 70's, but overnight lows in the low to mid 30's. You definitely got the jump on us... Good on ya Vince!

Keep it up, Vince! They are all looking great! I had to LOL at the 15 gallon root pouch...hope you get a monster plant out of that one! Leaves on the SBJ7 are huge!

Thanks for stopping by Brent. And yea it's a tie between the SB7J and the White Bhut for biggest leaves.
And hell yea the yellow Douglah should be a monster. Last year I had my fatalii in a 45 gallon smart pot and it was absolutely massive. I pulled like 83 pods off that fatalii plant one day. Hey true story, the bigger the container the more room for roots and therefore the bigger the plant ;-)

Hmmm...plant warrior. Will be watching those. I trim the lower leaves off when I set them out, it works. I think you'll like the results! Plants look awesome! Here's to some better weather!

Thanks Shane! Yea i can't remember where I first heard about the plant warrior pots, but it sounded like an interesting thing to try out. They weren't too expensive so I figured eh why not.

I have always been afraid to prune my plants just because I was positive that if it was possible to screw it up I surely would and kill my poor plants lol.

Thanks for coming for a visit Shane

Time for an update. I have moved most everything into it's final home for the season and am even starting to see some baby pods on a couple of the plants. Here are the pictures

Excellent update Vincent... plants look great.
How are you doing?

Sy

Thanks Sy

I'm doing pretty good, weather has been sucky the last couple of days but it's looking pretty good this week. Little Oriah has a double ear infection, so thats not been very fun either. But other than that everything is going pretty well

Glad you're doing good. The rain is good. We're getting that same rain here & for the next few days.

Double ear infection? ouch. poor kid. Hopefully she will get over it quickly.
We're pretty lucky so far with Amanda. Only a couple fever due to vacination shots. nothing too bad.
Still waiting for the first tooth though.

Oh yea Oriah had hell with her teeth, she's only got 4 but man she did not enjoy that at all. And yea for some reason she's had several ear infections. If she gets 2 more they wanna UT tubes in

"Welcome to the new fatherhood forum" :P

I heard the tubes really help.

I'm not looking forward to teething at all. I heard lots of sleepless nights.

Haha

Yea I've heard it helped alot of the kids that have them. And yea Oriah didn't sleep well at all when she was teething, very fussy most of the time
