vincent's 2013 season ***10/22/13 SUPER HUGE MEGA 40ish PICTURE UPDATE***

Well well well. Here we are again folks. Spent the last couple days getting everything all set up how i would like it to be (heat mat temps, lights hanging in right position, and the never ending task of finalizing a grow list. But i think ive done it...lol. i will be using a hydrofarm 4ft, 6 bulb, T5 fixture along with a heat mat set to88 F. I did not soak seeds overnight as i did last season so ill see if it makes a difference. Im putting litt. Ms. Oriah down for a nap at the moment but will post the final grow list here shortly

Pics to follow my friends.

Vincent

Be safe Vincent.

That was a excellent call.

Your plants lookt too perfecto to let a nasty storm destroy them !

We will be Jamie, and yea I just couldnt bring myself to leave the poor babies outside.

And thanks, I appreciate the compliments. I'll be sure to tell all the plants that you think they are perfect. They may blush...sorry I messed my back up and pain pills woo so im rambling

Thanks man. Yea they are loving the sun, and the awesome temperatures we've been having here lately. I brought them inside this morning though because of the massive line of storms/tornadoes coming my way. I highly doubt the poor babies would make it through this weather

Gonna be an interesting day, they are predicting tornadoes and straight line winds and all kinds of nasty stuff.

Yep, that system is coming my way tonight...

Plants are looking great Vincent. Take good care of your back (did you get that bad back from picking up your daughter? mine is getting big too)

That front came through here yesterday. All the chiles were tucked back inside, so no problems there. The low this morning was in the high 20s, though, so this may be another bad fruit year. One of my newer apple trees was blooming for the first time this year. The older trees were in full bloom, too, and I think I saw some blooms on the quince. The plums and pears had already set fruit and the blueberries haven't started blooming yet, so they may be ok.

Man that sucks. It's not going to be that cold here thankfully. I have a couple pear trees and a pomegranate tree but they're all too young for fruit yet

She's exactly one month older than my Amanda (she's 20lbs +)

disk? ouch...

I thought their birth dates were the same but wasn't positive. Oriah is pulling up on everything she can to stand up. She can keep her balance pretty well but can't stand without help

Sorry to hear about your back. I to have lower disc issues. Pain 24/7, tolerable to untolerable. Feel for you.
Started getting some showers, but worst hasn't made it hear yet.
Stay safe!
Glad you got the plants inside.
Atleast some of this pollen is being washed away!

Good ol lower back troubles. My pain is normally pretty tolerable but I've been doing alot of landscaping work so I've aggravated it.

The weather wasn't as bad as they had predicted but we got some torrential rains and some strong winds but no damage here. Still would've been too rough for the plants. But hells yes I'm glad it washed all the pollen away

Things are looking great Vincent. The babies enjoying that good ole Bama sun. I have some sitting out today for a few mins. They are loving it.
