vincent's 2013 season ***10/22/13 SUPER HUGE MEGA 40ish PICTURE UPDATE***

Well well well. Here we are again folks. Spent the last couple days getting everything all set up how i would like it to be (heat mat temps, lights hanging in right position, and the never ending task of finalizing a grow list. But i think ive done it...lol. i will be using a hydrofarm 4ft, 6 bulb, T5 fixture along with a heat mat set to88 F. I did not soak seeds overnight as i did last season so ill see if it makes a difference. Im putting litt. Ms. Oriah down for a nap at the moment but will post the final grow list here shortly

Pics to follow my friends.

So much empty space in that garden Vincent.  I must say I am a little disappointed :)
Well hell Noah, I wouldn't even have the garden had Silver Surfer not given me 30 plants lol. Believe me It'll be filled next year. It was a rushed job to say the least. Didn't even have time to get compost / topsoil delivered. I needed to get the plants out of the 1 gallons they were in asap. I'll be getting it in better shape over the fall and it'll be full next year. It's a huge plot...30 ft long and 25 ft wide, that'll hold a ton of plants

The plants are looking great, Vincent.  Loving all the ripe/ripening pods!  There indeed may be some empty space, but look at it as plenty of room for each individual plant to sprawl out!

Hey Brent, yea there is a ton of empty space but I put 4ft between each plant in a row and the rows are I think around 4ft apart as well. I hope they get bigger, it was just so rushed I didn't have time to prepare it at all. Silver Surfer gave me the plants on a Friday and I had someone come till it on the next Tuesday and I didn't want to take all of my plants out of their pots...hence the empty garden

Thanks Pia, the Serpent plant is huge and the Satan Strain looks pretty evil

UBSC

Chocolate Scorpion

Jalabanero Plant

And Pods

Not a plant but found this pretty awesome. So I have several root pouches sitting on the soil of my garden. Well I picked up one of those root pouches and found this. For those who can't tell, its roots. The roots (Chocolate Scorpion) have grown out through the bottom of the root pouch and into the ground. Pretty Crazy

Billy Boy Douglah

Billy Boy Douglah Pods

Billy Boy Jonah

BB Jonah Pods

They weren't kidding when said that Beni Highlands are productive

Big ol White Bhut

Lots of White Bhuts hanging about

Billy Boy Douglah Red Pods

And Finally........

Biker Billy Jalapeno

That's all for now as far as plant pictures go, but I can't remember if I posted this earlier or not, but here is my huge but empty garden plot 30ft long x 25ft wide.

It is empty because I had already had all of my plants in their root pouches. Well Silver Surfer gave me around 30 plants of his own, well obviously pots and soil to fill that many pots would be a fortune. So I had someone come till it up for me and planted what I didn't have pots for into the garden. Next year that garden will be filled to the max (something to look forward to lol)

Well I hope you enjoyed this update.

Thanks for looking,
Vincent

This update is insane!!! Where do you get the time and space? I had to get the day off, just to get trough these pics
Lol, I own my own business and I'm the president and only employee so I can do whatever. But honestly I just go take a few pictures when I let my dogs outside or go smoke or whatever I'll snap a few pictures and then upload them all at once.

Hey, I'll give you a break since you had a MASSIVE PIC DUMP.  It kinda makes up for the empty space.  :)  Great stuff Vincent!!

Super nice pics cuz! The Jerk marinade I made with the Bahamian Goat pods (among others) was hot as blazes, but too good to put down. I just need to tweak the recipe a little, and it's gonna be a mainstay for me during cookout season! I sampled the White Bhut, Yellow BB Douglah, Giant Naga and Mystery Chocolate pods by saving the seeds and chopping the rest into sofrito a la Walkgood, and using it to make lunch. The rest I had to dry and powder because they were beginning to soften and I didn't want to waste them. Great taste and heat to the lot... Thanks so much for sharing!

I noticed the Buth Cajamarca cross. As the Cajamarca was one of my favorites last season, this one should be a fantastic pepper. Does it turn purple at some stage?
