OH SNAP! If I were Statler & Waldorf I'd have to say something like "Yea it's been done, but I wouldn't have to do it again if you did it right the first time!" But I'm not, so ON WITH THE SHOW!

Ingredients include an 3rd cheese... Buffalo, extra lean ground beef, bacon, salt, pepper, cayenne, tomato, ripening jalapeno, red onion, brie cheese, apple wood smoked cheddar, regular cheddar, garlic, butter, parsley and of coarse BEER. Oh yea, there's a coke there for my g/f's Long Island Iced Tea's.

Meats mixed up and a slice of Brie cheese placed in the middle. The burger on the top is the pre-cooked finished product. On a side note, Brie is WAY better than any other cheeses out there because it doesn't melt and drip out of the burger causing all kinds of crazy flair ups.

A shot of the toppings...

What's that? Oh that's just an inside-out buffalo beef burger wrapped in bacon!

Well THP? Where is it?

Just cracked my first hosky and the prep has begun. T-minus...hour and a half or til the stupid kicks in before Project:EVIL kicks in...

Cheers, TB.

I'm willing to take a penalty for adding a pic of myself, but these burgers were FANTASTIC! So here's a pic of me, with beer, beer shirt that says "BEER once it hits your lips, it's so good." C'mon I dare you to argue that!

insideoutbuffaloburger028.jpg

Of coarse you couldn't have an inside-out Buffalo-beef burger without gently spreading the meat and showing off a bit of the money shot ;). Look at all that cheese...

insideoutbuffaloburger029.jpg

Dude... I just ate it, and all I can say is, I think it's called THE BEAST!
Let me get pics up in a few... stay up! It's worth it!

Hey thanks for the support TB! Just a quick question. Did your bacon wrapped, double jalapeno spiked cheese sammich give you chest pains, a numb left arm, and the feelings of a thousand needles of fire in your heart like my Three Cheese Garlic Butter Inside-out Buffalo-beef burger did? Nevermind, a little beer will put out that fire...

Whew! I'm sure glad that's over....

Woe to the amateur, there be professional throwdowners here.

I tip my hat to all the participants on their ingenuity and skillz. I would stand in line and pay way too much for anyone of these magnificent monsters of meat.

Standing O to all!!

No. During the week with the exception of fish and on occasion, leftover chicken that mrs. blues doesn't eat, (she refuses to eat leftovers) I am (dare I say it...) a vegetarian! Lots of peppers, onions, and garlic are involved. I could not concieve of eating the Awesome BaconFatBurger of Ultimate Win more than once a year. But you think that's bad? Wait til you witness the abomination I am preparing tonight!

Cheers, TB.

Alright throwdown kings. Here's a little bit of what went down in the Frydad4 kitchen this last Wednesday. After seeing the entries I feel a bit out of league, but so what!?!

Sample shot of ingredients for the Northern-Cuban Burger. Chorizo, beef, Munster, Busch Light for scale... trew

The not-so-secret sauce (next to the Bush Light 16ozer for scale) is 1/2 cup of Ranch, 1/4 cup of Dijon, 1 tsp of minced garlic, and 1 Hab fresh from the garden, pureed.

Shot of homemade Hab bun dough, courtesy Frydad4.

Burgers being pressed under aluminum foiled brick (that's hot... thanks Paris!).
IMG_1320.jpg

Not so money shot of Chorizo burger with Munster cheese and sweet pickles topped with ranch dijon garlic hab sauce, and then pressed.
Note: Busch Light for scale only, trew.

Would have posted this on Friday evening but the internets (the series of tubes) was down for a bit.

Side note: The sweet pickles worked, but I'd do less of them next time so as not to overwhelm.

I give you... THE BEAST!

There's no way I could go veggie. After all, vegetarian is a Tsimshian word for "bad hunter"... Seriously though we usually eat Indian foods (the other Indian, not the 'Come to our casino Indian' aka me). Sure there's meat, but it's not the main focus of the meal. In any event, *sigh*, I guess it's true what they say, "they're all sisters under the skin". My g/f refuses eat leftovers either. I dunno why, but she'd rather put it in the fridge and wait for it to go bad then have me throw it out after it's rotten. I keep saying that it'd be easier and better smelling for me to throw $5 bills in the garbage than it is to do it through the current system :(. Women! You can't live with them, pass the beer nuts!
