Just plain Ol Black Pepper & Kosher salt
Up at the Crack of Dawn, getting the pit Smokin. Debarked pecan for smokin this brisket!
Almost 10 hours in. 10° away from the magic number 203° internal temp

I smoked mine for the part of the cook that smoking's good for
had a minor emergency, wifey set up the hammock and didn't test it first. Jumped right on and one the bolts came out the frame and she landed on her tailbone. I had the step daughter come running in the house screaming that shes hurt. Looked like one the medic alert commercials. "I''ve fallen and I can't get up!"
