In a veggie burger contest, the bun becomes part of the critical mass, IMO. So...its MuskyMojo...by a bun

Couldn't resist with all the "fancy baking" going on. What's next? A THP steak contest and winner takes it with the floral arrangement at the center of the table?

Even The Swedish Chef, who knows baking, can do spicy meals while ignoring dainty pastries!

Not just veggie. A "burger" is not a patty. It's a patty and a bun that makes it a burger. The bun is key. Some people are finding out. We'll see what happens this Fri! I think we'll see less semi-homemade entries.

You're just mad cuz someone sat on your pack of buns.

I had to vote for Sicman. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. The burger actually looked and sounded pretty good too. Before he threw it on the ground that is.

Hey,

Been a while since I participated in a Tdown, but I usually try and vote. This one for me was tough and I prolly looked back and forth between several entries 20 times or more. In then end I had to go with Sum, the man has skills. His first picture was the clincher. The damn burger looks like it has its mouth open ready to devour all other veggie burgers who cross its path. The pickles, the picklese, and the gooziness of the cheese running down the bun, pattie, and plate are money. Good job once again.

I'm not surprised to see a veggie burger that was bitten into and then thrown on the floor, in contention FTW. It shows the underlying hate of all things not meat...lol

Smart move.

I see there's some shameless self promotion going on here...I might as well give it a shot.

Shame we're only allowed 2 pics - voters didn't get to see this beautiful & delicious Orzo-lentil patty, rich with Bacardi simmered bell pepper, yellow onion, yellow squash, carrot, habanero & wax peppers with cherry-smoked scorpion powder, panko & sambal olek.

Let's make it a 4-way tie people!

I had a hard time with this, they all looked good, and Sum’s final photos I think looked the best but his prep photos, the patty looked overcooked and dry IMO, and who the hell only bakes one bun at a time, I’m calling shenanigans, me be thinking that, that was a reheated store bought bun, just saying that’s what I think.

I’m having trouble with what they would tasted like from the ingredients and cooking methods, so I went with Sic, for two reasons humor and to screw Sum, so now they’re tied at 10.
