I don't know what you are doing Kevin, but mine is going nuts with flowers. Even getting destroyed in the hail storm last week it is still just pumping them out.
Thanks Cappy, I dont add any organic stuff to my dirt!May and June is when all the growth happens on my pepper plants, yours are ready to explode with growth so give them the food they need now. Did you till in organic matter in your dirt or do you just rely on a good feeding schedule to do the trick? Plants look like they are just getting rooted good in the new soil. With all the wild your growing it will be like capsicum heaven when they all grow up! A little bone meal down each row and watered in might just give them the kick start you want, worked for me in the past. May have to visit to try all your wilds one afternoon if that's alright with you. Feed'em.
I dont know either!!I don't know what you are doing Kevin, but mine is going nuts with flowers. Even getting destroyed in the hail storm last week it is still just pumping them out.
Thank you Sync!, It is just this time of year! Everything seems to be going slow! You say the going is slow, but my plants are maybe half as big as yours at best, so the waiting game is killing me here. Beautiful plants, by the way.
I've often considered giving up on chiles and being a weed farmer -- and no, not that kind of weed!
Great looking garden, Waywright, but I have a question. How the hell do you keep that big of a patch weed free? If I don't heavily mulch my plants within a week of transplanting, the weeds rapidly choke it out. I've often considered giving up on chiles and being a weed farmer -- and no, not that kind of weed!
Thank you Dan!I could lend you my chainsaw for dem pepper trees ya' got thar sonny...
