What do you do for a living?

Well, after figuring out that you can't major in partying Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights and make good grades in all the other classes in college I enlisted in the Army where I spent the next 20 years 6 months and 16 days working with Rocket and Missile Artillery Systems. After I retired I went back to college after figuring out that those other classes might be more important and finished my degree. Since them I've been an SAP ABAP/4 Programmer / Project & Program Manager and in my last position with the State of Florida I was an Office Automation Specialist making life easier for all the worker bees with customized Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and Access databases. Now, I've taken everything I've learned in my whole working career and use it as the Administrator for our church.

I've been there for 20 years buddy, and mostly it's sheer will and tenacity that enables one to handle the inevitable bad weeks that come and go.  The aim is to let go of my day to day involvement with the business and fill the newly opened hours doing something I truly love.  ;)

We actually have a poker table too! Props if you know who is in that photo. He was a regular at the bar I work at back around the turn of the 20th century.

i wanna do that ,i can draw !  won 5 state mentions in art back in high school . was gonna draw for the tribune ( cartoon ads ) . but was gonna be a rock star drummer had my now 34 year old daughter and you know the rest of the story .

Seriously. We had to divide the office I shared w/ the bookkeeper on a Tuesday night. We literally cut a door out of the back-wall and put up a wall between us. Ultimately, though, I've ended up working from home, because I can't watch stupid without letting folks know about it ...
