Now THAT is a list! I can't wait to see the video tour of your gardens. Do you have a full time job, or is agriculture it?

Hey mate, I run both the Seed bank online store, and administer my wife's business. I also study part time ( modern horticulture )

So in a sense it is my full time job.;)

fun

Bad ASS. I saw you were starting your garden and I had to think a bit. Your seasons are opposite of ours here in the Midwest U.S.A

Sounds like your going to be working overtime.

Regards

Hey Ian would you like a few diff scotch bonnets, 7pot/pod Jonah and some Trinidad Scorpion Morouga to add to that list........ PM me

I hope not, trying to setup a permaculture system in which is pretty self sustainable. Though I am a long way off that yet , so its hard work getting the setup done !!

In Qld, it's done or at least was done via TAFE. I did horticulture part time for just over a year back in the 90's.

yep QLD , though its all online.!

Interesting how they do it online, when I was going it was a hands on course. When I did irrigation the whole class had to make and install a system on the TAFE grounds.

We have alot of particle that has to be photoed.
I suppose there are up sides and down sides.
Most of the the pratical assesments are relevant to developing the farm. I get markes for putting in my own irragation in ;), so that is great !
And I run at my own pace, as there is NO ATTENDENCE. So I can finish in 2- yrs or 5 ! ;)

It does have positives, I hated working all day then going to TAFE for 3 hours at night.

I've still got my herbarium pressings somewhere. :)
