What to do with dead Weedeater

It wasn't my fault - it started to slow down - then smoke from the head. I shut it down & the head was half melted off.
The 25 cc 2-stroke is probably too small for a cart for the boy.Still good though - anyone have any thoughts on what I could use it for....
