What tomatoes are you growing? 2015

Pfeffer said:
San Marzano
Soldaki
Old German
Dansk Export
Sacharnaja Sliwa Krasnaja
Gartenperle Kirsch
Purple Russian Plum
Allthough it was one of my have to grows in the previous years, I decided to leave the San Marzano Romas, just sew the last 6 of that list, my goals is to end up with two mature plants of all six so that I get a steady supply of tomatoes.

you must have some acreage lol

I really only know 6 of that list. Not considering the brandywine variants (only know the heirloom).

Funny how the varieties are much more regional than our peppers. We get a lot of east european/italian/french/russian varieties.

Love your list and plants

I know nothing about all the tomato varieties.  All seeds I planted were from THP member DownRiver, and one other member whose name I've forgotten.

Brimmer, Old Brooks, Cherry, Roma.  Any tips for the first 2 listed?

I am not nearly as ambitious as most of you in tomatoes, but just finalized mine.

1. Early Girl
2. Supersweet 100
3. Sarah Black x2 (new variety for me)
4. Juliet Roma x2 (new variety for me)
5. Valencia (new variety for me)

This gives me an early variety, an orange variety, a black variety, a grape-sized variety and hopefully plenty of romas.  I'm trying the smaller Juliet Roma this year. My regular ones last year were mediocre producers.

Tim's Black Ruffles :) Really looking forward to this one !
