What's up with the weather?

Scovie, we have a 500 gallon propane tank. Before we had our attic insulation added to it took three fills every winter to stay toasty. After the added blown in we use less than half that. Ok?

Holy shit! That is A LOT of Propane! How much is it a gallon out there? (if you don't mind me asking).

      :rofl: Don't worry. I'm not a meteorologist. (But I play on on THP.) Either way, no need to believe in anything. Belief is for fat kids. Facts are facts regardless of who's flapping their gums.
 
Propane here right now is +/- $1.19 a gallon. Last summer smart folks prebought @ 99 cents.

It changes often. Farmers who use it for their grain driers have a lot of control over local price. Two winters ago it was as much as $2.99/gal.

Damn, I'm a fat kid....:-(
 
It was 75 here this morning. Then a nasty cold front came through and it was 53 by noon.
 
Edit: Double post here too. Internet is weird as the weather today. I came back to my computer to see a posting error message after trying the first post, hit resend and then there were two. I think it was my satellite internet that dropped out. Not a site error.

Shit, now they're saying it will start snowing tonight through the week and Wednesday will be 37° and possible rain. Holy crap man, rain on top of snow? I love it when that happens. Not. Why can't we stay between 15° and 25° until February?!?!?! That would be perfect.

20s feels like spring right now. Been working 16s on night shift and average temps have been sub zero. -40+ with windchill. Trying to steam crude oil rail cars so the product can even flow. Steam freezing a into shitty frosty haze of misery on everything. After about 4 hours out in it i'm covered head to toe in ice.
