Where Do You Work?

I work for Navistar aka International Truck and Engine in Ohio. I've been there coming up on 20 years(xtra week of vacation for that 
).
I have worked in most of the Depts that we have and can pretty much build a semi truck by hand from radiator to the rear dual axles to mounting of transmissions to virtually every hand weld on the cab and everything in-between. My current position is Product Improvement Specialist (Inspector) which involves inspecting the truck(s) for defects and submitting ideas for better processing for the benefit of the customer (and of course company profits).
I truly enjoy this work as it allows me to work with my hands and mind on a daily basis...and work with a GREAT bunch of people that I've known for quite some time now. When working OT (like this coming weekend) I'll be "selling" trucks which is a final inspection process that we do prior to shipping to our special equipment facility and from there to the customer/dealership(s). I do have a background in mechanical/architectural design along with formal electrical/electronic training from the US Army (77-83).
Along with this I also have a online store for my weakness of auctions and soon to be adding my own spicey food related items I've come up with. ..... and the whole peppers thing which is TOTALLY getting out of hand ...hahaha
