I shoot people. Snap Snap, not Bang Bang.
I mostly do portraits and head shots, I used to work with bands but got sick of it. I've done some product shots, parties and events, and concept shoots. I have done a few video projects, like promos/teasers and worked onset for a couple films in the past.
I refuse to sell my soul to wedding photography just to make a buck, so since I'm not busy enough to support myself and my needy canines on what I make with photography, I also have a few other artsy-ish jobs.
I am a legal video specialist. Sounds cooler than it is. I pretty much mic up lawyers and witnesses and video depositions, making sure that the audio is mixed and the video shows the witnesses face clearly for a jury. Its used in cases with high profile witnesses, or to try and catch someone in a lie. I work for about an hour setting everything up and if the witness isn't a squirmer, and no one has a cough, then I log in to THP chat on my phone and wait for someone to come amuse me.
I also have been doing roofing estimates since I was about 17/18 and on occasion I get some work there.
Most recently a friend and I have launched a relational marketing firm that offers creative services. Our intent is to be able to provide companies with everything they need for their marketing campaigns without having to outsource any of the work to design firms or a data miner. As you may have guessed, I do all the creative services, branding, print layouts, illustration, email blasts, and I'm even trying my hand at motion graphics and animation in the upcoming weeks.
