Sorry, me again!
I went to the hydroponics store and the sales guy showed me all their different lighting options but anything useful to me was $100+ and I'm just not paying that much for ADDITIONAL lighting. So I went to the local aquarium store to purchase a couple of single tube T8 2ft light housings but they explained their light housing are not a standard length and none will fit the 2ft Sylvania tubes I wish to use. It's so much more difficult than it should be!
Anyway, I have a question... I was using daylight + crappy 14W compact cool white flouro + warm white LED strip light and ended up with leggy seedlings. Now I have daylight + 3200 lumen HID bulb dangling above the seedlings with no reflector + crappy 14W compact cool white flouro + pedestal fan all running 24/7.
I only wanted the Grolux because of how well it's grown Lavatung's seedlings... Do you think if I add my second 3200 lumen HID bulb the 6400 lumen worth of HID + daylight + fan will be enough to thicken the seedlings up? I only have 38 seedlings in a 50cm x 50cm area.
