Woke up with 12+"

Howdy Marco
I just tried to get out with my F550 4X4 (dualrears) and it was no match for a five'deep by about 400'long drift. Still no power on here, so I'm back inside cookin on the woodburner with a little advice from Cap'n, the onions are smellin awesome. I dont know what the hell this is gonna turn out to be yet....I may add some buffalo or something......taking any suggestions fella's

the pic of the dog reminds me of the first time my mutt(heinz 57) lab mix..first time there was several inches of snow he had a look on his face like what in the *&^&%$ is going on here. we went out into the yard and when he went out into the snow his feet going into the snow would freak him out and he would run back on the porch....all day long he would go out into the snow freak out get back on the poarch....it was hallarious...we sat and watched it all day and it got funnier and funnier.
 
Yeah the dogs (5) are loving life here in the snow. Now the little lady..well that’s a different story, going on 24+ hours without electricity now and I guess there are things that the gals need that just don’t seem as important to me sometimes. Then there is the fact that I work for the power company…..that sure provides her with a little fodder for a few quick jabs.

Now Bubba, about your daily waking condition……..have you thought that your wife may not really want to get a job? :drooling:
 
it doesn't snow in England anymore because of the labour government. It might have something to do with global warming, but I figure it's mainly a socialist government (allegedly) obsessed with taking the fun out of things and complying with ridiculous health and safety legislation decreed that snow was an enemy of the people, so they banned it.

We used to have loads of snow, each year. Now we have a measly 1/2 inch if we're lucky. The scots get loads, they've got the right idea. Poor little shooty* Jnr will grow up not knowing the proper pleasures of annual snow, unless I take him to france or something, but I don't want to risk that, you don't know what effect it'll have on 'em. :drooling:

Besides, Florida: you've got Jeb Bush, haven't you? I heard he was working on banning gravity as being non-consistent with intelligent design. God did NOT intend the fabric of space time to be distorted by large mass bodies, dammit.

Thats one of the reasons why i want to move to the moon.
 
There will be some Marco, but about 5 years ago I tricked them into an office job and.....well they still aint caught on to me yet, so I dont have to get out in it like the crews do. Those guys earn there $$ on days and nights like this.
 
Hey Shooty,The sking is gonna be great this year, great snowpack already. Although I haven’t skied in 20 years ( just did it long enough to catch my wife, poor girl;) ) I figure if I’m gonna drudge through the snowy mountains in the freezing cold, I might as well carry a gun and kill something big.:flamethrower:Yuuummmm
