5 months is a good average, I always wondered if I planted the plants later, with the heat we have here in Mississippi, under
black plastic mulch in full sun if they would make faster? I'm gonna find out this year! Thanks to a greenhouse disaster in February (I replanted and put the peppers in the ground this past weekend)then replanted some more seed(still in the greenhouse) then Nova sent me a buttload of seeds to grow and compare with the ones I'm growing and they are in the sprouter and sprouting away! Should be a interesting year, grow wise.

I got a bunch of the ButchT seeds from pepperlover before she sold out and they are growing about 180 miles east of you...they went in the ground 24 March....hopefully it will be a good year...and I hope your season is one to remember Butch..
