off-topic You know what really grinds my gears?!?

Ok here is a doozie:
My wife gets paid Friday.
She thought she was getting paid today.
Christmas is gonna be REALLY lean this year.
I'm not all that concerned about the presants, but kinda sucks that we waited to grocery shop. We have stuff, just nothing celebritory. DANG IT!!

On the other hand being piss poor does bring folks closer together I suppose. :sad:

Here's another one where I clicked on the "Like" button not because I like your situation but there's no "I feel ya" button, or "Heard that"  or not even a "Werd" button. Too many people I know are in the same exact boat.
A guy I knew had a bit of advice for me once when I was really down one year. He said "Don't worry, things always look darkest right before they go completely black". So I punched him in the teeth and went through the rest of the day with a smile on my face.
I'm not saying you should go find some smug bastard who thinks he's better than you and pop him one in the mug, but it helps :hell:

I tried to see if I could send some Goldbely, but they aren't delivering on Christmas, and I couldn't surprise him without asking for his address ...
 
Since it has to be lean, there's no reason it can't be spicy!

This head cold that has ahold of me. Yikes, feels like my neck is carrying around a medicine ball.

Remember those heavy leather balls that they had at the gym for the "I'm cool" guys to toss at you? I think they wiegh about twenty pounds?

Yep my whole head feels think, heavy, dense, and leathery.

I'll probably die.

SUCKS!
 
Ya know what really grinds my gears?
 
Those stupid weak fake "ziplock" bags the grocery deli gives you the cold cuts in. 
 
Used to be waxed paper - you'd take it home & transfer to a ziplock to preserve freshness. I was ok with that. I knew what I had to do, and I did it. And my cold cuts lasted longer. 
 
Now they give you that paper thin faux ziplock, and while it "seals", if you squeeze the bag you hear air rushing out. If it's not sealed, it's not effective at preserving freshness, dammit! 
 
I believe it's a conspiracy by the grocery store - they give you a false sense of security that your food is retaining freshness - meanwhile it goes bad twice as fast as if you'd put it in a real ziplock baggie. Either put it in a real sealable bag or go back to the wax paper. 
 
That really grinds my gears.
