When you hear on the news that there is renewed fighting in Gaza strip and you wonder if Omri is safe (for real - I only know of 2 people in Israel, both are from forums and when I heard the news on the radio my first thoughts were of Omri and that other dude).

I hope to visit Israel one day. I have a serious fascination with history and Israel is packed with it.

Israel is not just packed with history, it's probably one of the most beautiful and interesting places on the face of the earth. if you do want to travel around and see, you should know all the main attractions are currently safe. if you go to Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, Dead Sea, Tiberias, Eilat and the Galilee area, there aren't any rockets, bombings, troops or fighting of any kind. it's a lot more quite than most places in the US. :lol:
Just remember to stay the hell away from the Gaza strip and the cities around it.
 
I agree,lostmind, news of Israel always has me wondering how Omri is and if he's ok. I have to check in, glad you keep us posted Omri. Stay safe!

Not if you "ever go", just right now. when this all thing is over, feel free to drop by. plus, I could always visit you if you're here. from where I live, the farthest point in Israel is like what, 4 hours of driving? nothing serious.
 
At risk of keeping this going longer than it should, how is everything there now Omri? I have been reading the paper every day and hoping all this ends soon.

You know you spent too much time at THP when you're 99.9% of THP's traffic.
You know you spent too much time at THP when you use acronyms like LOL, IMO and BTW in your everyday life.
You know you spent too much time at THP when the first thing you do after waking up in the morning is clicking on the 'New Posts' link.
 
....when you know things are getting bad in Israel, and Omri posts BS posts, because you know deep down, he's got a capsaisan bomb in his house (that won't get reported on the news)...and that's when things will start to quiet down.....
 
...when the person who owns the forum changes the colors for just 10 seconds because he knows you are going to be the only one who will see it.
