The Datil is pretty versatile - hot with lots of flavor. I'm not a great sauce maker; but, I made some Datil sauce 2 years ago that was quite a hit. The Minorcan community in St. Augustine guards their recipes like they were treasure maps; and, each family has their own time-trusted secret recipe.SavinaRed said:Datils might make my top 5 next year.
