Your top five peppers

The Datil is pretty versatile - hot with lots of flavor.  I'm not a great sauce maker; but, I made some Datil sauce 2 years ago that was quite a hit.  The Minorcan community in St. Augustine guards their recipes like they were treasure maps; and, each family has their own time-trusted secret recipe.

I love the 7 pot.  Bout the only one I like.  Grown the red and the yellow.  Not a fan.  I can do half of a pod in an omelet, but if I put a full pod in, stomach cramps.
 
It was very hard for me to leave peach and yellow ghost off my list.  Chenzo for powder, Cajun Bell for salads.  Plus I am falling in love with CGN21500, and orange blob.

I am growing orange blob this year, mostly just out of curiosity. I assumed it was just an off-pheno orange hab. Now I am looking forward to trying one  :)
 
Any way of putting all these results into a graph? That would be a useful resource for anyone that needs to decide what peppers to grow, especially for those of us with limited space.

In no particular order..
Scotch bonnet yellow
Tabasco yellow
Brazilian starfish
Cayenne
Aji lemon

I imagine one could.  I have grown a lot, and have settled into a pretty set list of what I grow.  There are times when I will grow something I haven't grown in a while simply because I am out of it.  Or I need to get fresh seeds.  
 
Just from scanning the list TS Yellow, Fatalii, Jigsaw, Mustard Hab all made it on more than one list.  Starfish, cayenne, and jalapeno did as well.

Greg sent me around 30 different pods two years ago and I was able to sample a lot of them and then pick the ones I wanted to try.  Those two are in my top 5 for habanero peppers along with the Mustard, peach, and bmj.
 
Didn't get a lot out of the JA hab, west indie, or the regular hab.
 
Need more data on the pumpkin and big sun.  
 
Yellow and red hab are pretty good too.
 
Lantern is just an awesome pepper (for looks) but like the savina, has a horrible after taste.
 
So many to try still, but so far:
 
Red bhut jolokia smoked with apple wood and dried
Bahamian Goat - any way
Reaper - smoked with cherry wood and dried
aji amarillo any way
tabasco (fresh off the plant)
 
So far the run away winner is the Bahamian Goat with 9 votes
2nd is the MOA with 7
3rd is a 2 way tie- Aji Pineapple and Jalepeno's with 5 votes.

You missed a great pepper. Judy has described the Albanian Red Hot as the best tasting Annuum she has ever had. Nigel did a review as well so I won't be able to give it justice. Judy put out a grinder using this pepper and I use it all the time. Sweet, savory, acid balance, gives sweet and sour. Plus it is an embroidered pepper that is interesting and adds to crunchy goodness.

The Albanian Red Hot is a lovely pepper and one of the few annuums I really like, but in all honesty very little difference from Vezena Piperka from Macedonia. Both are excellent fresh and as powder.

im waiting for my Bonda ma Jacques to germinate. It will be my first time tasting and growing this pepper.
