event Zestfest 2012

Ann, in a perfect world I could use 2 because my bride is coming with.

Well then, in that case, the one I have is for YOUR LOVELY BRIDE!!!

Sounds Like LunchBox will be using his other ticket so PM me. Might have another one-

I don't know how all the tickets work for the evening awards banquet, but from what I understand, each entry into the FFC gets a ticket or two to the awards banquet. Plus I have our booth tickets to the awards banquet. I guess I'll find out more on Thursday, but I'm happy to get more chileheads into the dinner if I can.

LunchBox, good to hear you didn't get stuck on "graphics detail" and got to try some sauces!

AJ- glad to hear you'll be hanging out. Will Linda be coming to ZF at all or is she chilling on the couch resting the ankle?

Edit- just got this email from ZestFest- If you think of it, bring a can of food, even if you have "free" tickets, to help the local food bank-

"ZESTFEST" TO BENEFIT "IRVING CARES" WITH
SECOND ANNUAL FOOD RALLY

IRVING, Texas - January 2012 - "ZESTFEST" cordially invites all vendors and guests to donate non-perishable food items to Irving Cares by combining the love of spicy food with the compassion to feed others. When you attend ZestFest, please bring canned goods to place in marked bins to show your continued community support for the food pantry at Irving Cares. In exchange for a donation of canned goods, you'll receive $2 off the admission price at the Convention Center Box Office.

"ZestFest has always supported the efforts of food banks to feed the hungry. We believe in supporting the community which has supported our show for the last 10 years. This is a great way for our attendees to get $2.00 off of the ticket price and help the less fortunate. Win-win all around," said Greg Bagarozy, the show producer.

ZestFest 2012 will be held January 27 thru 29 at Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. This event brings together the spiciest exhibitors and products from around the country. Hosted by NBC KXAS, your $15 admission entitles you to cooking demos by celebrity chefs, live music, interactive contests, and thousands of bold food samples. Children under 10 are free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Tickets may be purchased at the Convention Center Box Office. The event runs January 27 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; January 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and January 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"The Food Pantry at Irving Cares provides nutritionally balanced groceries for families in need, serving an average of 700 families per month. Each order holds 85 pounds of food, so we need nearly 60,000 pounds food each and every month. Your donation at ZestFest can help us fight hunger in Irving, as well as giving you the opportunity to see a great show," said Teddie Story, Irving Cares' Chief Executive Officer.

In families without adequate financial resources, people typically go without basic human needs, such as food. The consequences are lasting and jeopardize children's long-term health, employment and earnings potential, perpetuating the cycle of poverty. For more information about the Food Pantry Program, please visit our website at www.irvingcares.org .

About Irving Cares:
Ensuring that the most basic human needs are being met is an important measure of a city's quality of life. It is what Irving citizens believed 54 years ago when they founded Irving Cares, and it is still true today.
Since 1957, Irving Cares is not a handout, but a hand up for Irving families in crisis. The agency served more than 37,000 people in the Irving community last year, and the need continues to increase. By providing limited financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, transportation to medical facilities and prescription deliveries; and information and referral, Irving Cares promotes a client's self-sufficiency. More information on Irving Cares can be found at www.irvingcares.org .

About ZestFest:

I would appreciate it if those attending would post pics both of people and products. Thank you. If it would be easier to start a thread for that after the fest that would be fine. Thanks again.

I'll be donning the new "Creator-vision" sunglasses, so I'll be taking audio/video for most of the weekend (mostly from our booth). I wanted to have a live stream coming out of our booth to our website for the entire weekend, just couldn't get it done in time. Probably next year.
