New Forum

I'm loving the new mobile version.. on my phone its very cool :) the time is out by an hour though.. (not a big deal)..
 
Fix it in your board options.

For example:

The Hot Pepper > thehotpepper.com > Announcements.

When I click on "thehotpepper,com" I get that message. I have to go back to the home page to go into the subfolder I wanted to. Hope that makes sense.

+1 on that for me too, also i can't seem to get the edit post to work, i click edit and a little box shows up at the top of the screen and says loading but nothing happens, don't know if this is a me problem or not.
 
Tried to edit the apove post, but..well...

anywho not sure if this is another me thing but i can barely see the line that separates the post from the signature and when a quote is in the sig the line is pretty much invisable. Anyway that can be bolded or darkened? Just a suggestion. :)
 
I did an edit on another post, will try it on this one. BRB

Got the "Loading" box and then the edit box popped right up, might be a browser thing with pop-ups???
 
request for another feature-

On the "View New Content" page, is it possible to have the date that the thread was started in there somewhere? Maybe in the "Started by XYZchile on 01Jan1999"?



I'm finding my way around, figuring out to click on the date instead of the name when trying to look at a new posts. It'll all come together. And the resizing of images is a GREAT feature! It was always kind of annoying having to scroll to the right to see images that members did not resize correctly.

"Find My Content" in their profile. Also if you click the little green icon to the right of usernames in forum view, friends lists, etc. it's one of the icons at the bottom.

Clarification-
figuring out to click on the date instead of the person's name when trying to look at the most current posts in a thread with many old posts.

Clicking on the thread title links to the first post in the thread. I was typing in a hurry, supposed to have been on the way to work... :)

I'm off to check out the chat room~~~

Haven't tried the chat, but I get that box that says "Loading..." when trying to send a message (not when replying to something in my inbox), edit a post or click on "Show All" for the smileys. I probably have to update something on my side, but I can't figure out what. I have added the site to the list of sites where pop-ups are allowed, and the notifications work. I don't think the pop-up blocking had anything to do with it anyway.
 
Correction. Notifications worked. Just noticed that I had a new message without getting the pop-up notification. Now if I could only remember if I was using this computer when it worked, or the one at work. Haven't been on THP at work since tuesday, that much I know.
 
You can edit your profile fields now!
