Cha! I-mon mus have some bonnets in meh garden next season! Up to my ears in pods too, but not enough variety in heat and flavor on my end. Put everything into the 4-5 varieties I had seed for in Feb. Next year I'm definitely doin the bonnet thing!

They're Leucocoprinus sp. Dunno which ones exactly. They won't hurt your plants at all! Keep them for the aesthetic appeal. Hell, I've actually inoculated all my houseplants with the yellow species of this mushroom. I really think it's awesome when they fruit!

Yup, I see these at open air markets here. This jar is even more disturbing when it's sitting out on a bin of produce, and it's 90+ degrees outside! I always figured they got fried at some point after being pickled, but I'm not 100% sure about this....

That last one looks like my pods Patrick, but I'm also seeing a lot of pod variation. Sometimes they look really blocky with hidden tails up inside the lobes. Other times they've got long scorpion tails that are perfectly formed. Other times off to the side tails, some without points, almost...

I did a double take a few months back when I was in my hometown for a visit and saw Shlitz in cans on the shelves. I bought everything they had cold before I left to come back to the mountains! Not a bad session/lawnmower at all. Right up there with PBR in terms of taste/dollar ratio.
