NEED ADVICE - Transplant now or later?

I have this Cajamarca in a 3-gallon pot that is loading up with chiles. It needs to be transplanted but I'm wondering if I should wait until after I've harvested some or if it is ok to repot it now. What are your thoughts?

My first plant growing ever : Trinidad Scorpion Butch T

Best of luck to you! I lived in Houston for almost 4 years and had a wonderful balcony garden, mostly due to the climate.

    Chiltepin and Tepin

From the plants I've seen growing wild in South Texas, the piquins (pequins) also tend to grow taller/more upright.

I started some Cajamarca seeds from the CPI early this year and they are just now setting fruit. The summer was just too hot.

I live in Cedar Creek, TX (just west of Bastrop) and the ban on BBQ is not nearly as stringent for us. Weird, huh?

Looks like NuMex Twilight but one thing bothers me: the peppers in the photo look longer than most NuMex Twilight peppers I've seen.

    Snake repellent

We've had success using mothballs (naphthalene) on our farm. There's a product called Snake-A-Way (also contains naphthalene) that's supposed to work but mothballs are cheaper.

    Rain!

I hear ya. We have a ranch in Concepcion, TX and it's the same there. Same up here in Austin, too. Sure would be nice to have a mild tropical system park itself over South/South Central Texas and give us some much needed rain.
