Hey, i'm from the UK and my purple tigers are ONLY just starting to ripen since they reached full size about 5 weeks ago, but slowly and surely they are going red :) the weather has been so rubbish, no summer at all!! :(

Just wondering if it really defeats the object of germinating in a ziplock bag? taking the moisture out would maybe dry it out too much, and if you're wetting the seeds anyway to germinate whether the bag would get wet?

Tried a Purple Tiger pod that was still purple the other day, was lovely, my boyfriend couldn't handle it though, but i liked it, i'm gonna dry some or pickle some though haven't decided!!

its nice to see them finally getting pods, mine have just started too, very exciting!!

yeah purple is fine, the white on the leaves may be just varigation on it, mine are the same....:)

so nicwe when they start properly budding, i have about 7 flowers open now, so they all will follow suit, can't wait to see them grow, keep up the good work!

this all reminds me of A Bugs Life when you see the ants carrying aphids around like little babies....but yeah, i have found a few aphids, within a couple a cms of an ant, kill them all!!!

The ones with the thicker leaf and the stickers, smaller, are from sea springs, their plug selection, i have 2xApricot 1xTrinity and 1xFairy Lights, should be interesting to see, they grown approx 50% of their size since they arrived, been feeding them all miracle grow (controversial!) since the...

A bunch of new photos, the flowers are starting to open, even though the weather has been pretty rubbish, but hey!! So far the only problems i have is space, and only a couple of aphids, but been checking them regularly to keep on top of it, little buggers..... plus my lady bird flew off :(...

you Have my condolences too, i think its fantastic that you're doing this, and they all look great, i'm in Southampton, Hampshire, UK and i'm hoping for some nice weather, as its turned off a bit! Yours look so verdant and healthy!! :)

They are i got mine through about a week back, they said they will still send them until end of may :) i got 4 plants from them this year, 2 x apricot, fairy lights and one other i can't remember!

I'm away on business at the moment, and i'm missing my plants, is that odd? You love them, baby them and hope they grow up not being rebellious..... i hope my boyfriend is treating them nicely!!!

I agree with the ladybird comment, i found a couple in ym back yard, i think of them as my my guard bugs!! :) Nice looking plants though, good luck with the aphid situation.
