  I want to send a huge thank-you to Judy @ pepperlover.com. Judy noticed my forum post and decided to send me free seeds to replace the ones that our Customs people destroyed.   I did not ask for or expect replacement seeds - I know how strict our Customs people are and I knew there was a risk...

  I also placed an order with pepperlover.com recently, but unfortunately our over zealous customs people decided to destroy it when it arrived in Australia.......   A horrible end to what I am sure were great quality seeds :(

  Yes - All of the seeds had the common and botanical names clearly marked on the packets.   The letter stated that Chinense and Annuum seeds posed a risk to Australia (although no specific risk was stated) and were not allowed in.

After placing a number of seed orders with overseas vendors, I just had my first seed order intercepted by Australian customs.    There was a note attached informing me that all of the Chinense and Annuum seeds were removed from the shipment and destroyed. The Baccatum seeds were allowed...

I placed my first order with Peter recently and thought I'd share my experience.    I got carried away with the selection on offer, and ended up ordering way more than I should have.....(  :shh: Don't tell the home boss)   The seeds arrived safely in Australia within 2 weeks, which is better...

Thanks AussieMitch   I have plenty for now, but I'll keep them in mind.

I've tried Jolokias but I have never seen or tasted a Fatalii. I like the sound of a citrus flavored pod, so I'll see if I can track some down.   I'll give it a couple of days to ripen fully and then see what it tastes like and how hot it is. if it tastes good, I'll keep the seeds in any case.

My seeds made it to Australia safe and sound. Everything was there, as well as a few extras.   About 2 weeks in total from order to delivery - I'm one very satisfied customer!

  The 4 plants were all grown from seeds supplied by a reputable vendor and are growing in an isolated garden at the back of my house. The only plants in the garden are these 4 plants (3 chocolate habs plus whatever this one is)   Technically I guess the mystery plant could be some annuum...

I planted some chocolate habanero seeds and the plants have just produced their first pods.   3 of them produced chocolate habaneros, but one of them produced this :-     The pod is around 3 inches long. I am wondering if it could be a yellow version of a Naga Jolokia (If that exists)?
