5 peppers got an entire 6 pack; otherwise divided into 3 (half 6-p: yes; 6/2 = 3 [hotdamn am tired]) and will prick out. Entire 6: 1. BOC (Jason/GA Growhead) 2. MoA (but another half-6 of that from Walkgood/Ramon and Steve); 3. Tabasco (mine) 4. Bahamian Goat (Greg PIC1), and 5. JA Hab (Ramon/Walkgood)

Many thanks to Mike Rote/Barley_Pop for jerky   :drooling:  and Jason/GA Growhead, for sending me my own Orange Thai seed and the hottest damn powder I've ever had! :onfire: Also, thank you, John, Ark/Saw for the Harbor Freight coupons for "torch to burn honeysuckle roots." And everybody who has, via PM or otherwise, encouraged, offered ideas on new, additional growing space: fence is gone and if no rain, fell, limb, buck and split with two splitters 8 big trees, Maple, 4 Hickories, Pecan, Black Walnut, Poplar NEXT WEEKEND!

Also, would like ideas on that new (additional) space (100'+ x 50')  with stumps, most are to side except Maple. 1. burn 2. grind (cost prohibitive and don't think rented grinder would get it but might if ya'll have any ideas) 3. Work around them this year . . . raised beds, ugh, the work or level with huge dump truck topsoil. And again, work around what's left of stumps. Rip it in Feb. REALLY rich humus in half that on the "lots of trees" side: 25' x 100'+. Also, high side. Have considered dozer/bucket end of my and cousin's tractor just to help level and "share the wealth" of humus.

Hope everybody has kick-butt 2014 GROW! :fireball:

Did I see a Skynyrd reference???

If so, I missed it. Don't know Skynyrd that well, but any shooting reference that doesn't include Nugget is more sane than one that does.

Yeah, it was a song that referenced the bands flirtation with death and as a warning that bad things can happen when you live hard.  The culminating catalyst for the song was when one of their guitarist wrecked his car while intoxicated.  It was released on the album Street Survivors and then three days later they had the plane crash.
Not sure if she was referencing that with he comment or not, but I think so ;)

Hijack over!!!

Update to seeded list. As told Scott, not showing until pot-up because we've all seen a hook and got lots of green. Planted 10 seeds in half 6-pack on mats. Some got full 6's. Thus far these have hooked (and I've not killed by de-helmeting, lol). And if the weirdness among annuums is well, weird, is odd for me as well! But being patient with them, given that as they come out and go on few mats under lights, doesn't take long and if it does, esp. with those poblano and pasilla, much longer, going to re-seed. (But as soon as I do, ones already seeded will break. )

Yeah, really, who doesn't want to look at baby pics?  (Not being sarcastic - we're all like a bunch of mother hens, clucking around the farm yard, showing off the babies.)

Riiiight, John! lol on "baby shots"--I kilt a Brazilian Starfish trying to get that tiny stubborn helmet off this afternoon. Playing with temps too; something that Greg/PIC1 does, popping up and down for couple days. Back to 90F now for couple days.

Update list. Red = popped (and some are half-grown  ). R, F, Sat this week, we take down trees and split (R is "college speak" for Thursday, not to be confused with T, which is "for Texas/ for Tennessee," or Tia-Juana, as the song does not say) and damn, need a break. Burning bunch of brush/weed stuff this weekend, beginning ditch at bottom of bank for gravel delivered, then french drain, to keep new garden space from standing in run-off water. And taking down some smaller trees that the squirrels planted on bank to use for log bucking.

The Choc Hab, Red Mushroom varieties, Peach Hab, White Hab Stinger, White Fatalii, Bonda Ma Jacques, West Indies Hab making no sense. Doing the coffee filters wet on heat mat in bags for Pasilla and Poblano. I think the other Habs and such will pop and upping temps on the other supers just seems . . . different? Shout out to Stefan/Meatfreak at Tasty Peppers: he has good seeds! And to Mikey/Barley _Pop for the jerky! Tasted it = delicious and saving for next weekend; nothing like hot jerky make a chainsaw feel lighter

Oh yeah: seeded for grow-down without soak, Aji Chuncho. In theory, not supposed to plant pre-whenever but they came, I had a minute and stuck 'em in dirt. Me'n a minute's a rarity lately.

That list is getting red, so I guess things are going good.
I got my first red bhut of the year to pop today, so I'm a little less anxious.
And The Jigsaw yesterday.
Jay's Peach, still silent.

Your little Inca Red Drops went wild on the heat mat a few days ago but I only potted 3. I think. Sent some of the  seeds up north to Rick.  I think.

I've a mind to try those Horticubes on the the chinense next year.
Even considering the lighter numbers this year my popping, seems slower than my first season.

Good luck on the trees.
Be careful.

JJJ, love, "I think." It gits like that ;)

Horticubes . . . what would give you that mind: I've a mind for suggestions.  You mean the kind Sears sells? Of course, might not be Oasis if they do (they get away with knock-off stuff online).

Go Red Drops! Gooooooooooo Bhuts! Gooooo-OOO JPGS? I'm waiting on "Ghost-do" there too. Ya Black Naga popped but the regular Naga and King Naga haven't--see? Don make bit of sense. But then long time ago, David Byrne and Co. suggested that we stop trying to make that.

I am busy and your jerky is wonderful: giving me energy; thus, I need no sleep! Thank you, Mikey!

Yea Annie you show yours and I'll show mine....wait I don't have any yet, ha. A bunch of seeds planted though.

Glad to read that the germinations happening.

I'm still going through sauces and powders that were sent, somewhere down the road I'll post a foodie shot with one of your sauces...tanx again.

I demand some paparazzi photography of you celebrity seedlings.......hah

Glad to hear everything is germination very well for you :D The SBYellow x Yellow Brainstrain was slower to germinate over here compared to the other so you might need some more patience with that one ;) Gonna be an epic grow, Annie. Have a great weekend!

I saw that you were waiting later to seed, Greg (the all-seeing eye, ha!; no, I just pay attention to glogs and comments).

Oooh, to be married to you and be as big as the side of a barn. People have an inclination to feed me; they say I'm thin. Then, I go burn it off; that attempt to do the Southern, "fatten you up," has failed for 5 decades.

Please let me know what you think of my sauces. I kin take hit! You have one and I'd go downstairs to check on babies and my sauce frig, next to pod freezer, and see exactly but it's maybe Hawaiian something and I swear I can taste the . . . been using it as combo duck/red sauce with Chinese . . . works great as glaze for chicken too, if going Asian. Feels like apricots, papaya, mango, pineapple, mustard, ginger, coconut milk cut with coconut water. Feels like "about gone," too!

Demand away. I'm enjoying a cortado (in a mug I could do a 1.5 jack-knife off high dive into) with Kicking Horse K-A Dark that a friend gave me, before making a decision to cut small trees on bank in rain today. Good luck with your germ; when trees get down--the big ones for new garden, this weekend barring rain--I'll have more time to check in and gawk at your grow  ;)

Good luck with the trees this weekend!

Ugh: rain today, Scotty. Cold too. Calling for some snow. Was gonna cut all the small b.s.-ers off bank but that old Stihl with 14" bar is more bottom heavy than with 16." I see an injury on steep bank in rain/sleet/snow. But if it rains NEXT weekend, gonna entirely "lose my religion." But just in case, I sharpened shovels last night to dig ditch. (Friday night entertainment at its finest :liar: .) Hope Otis is well, hon!

Your seeds are amazing Stefan! You get some more varieties of supers and stuff on that list and wow! Your germs have destroyed have cast shadow on most other vendors. Your ability to pick at just ripe stage and dry seed is GREAT! If doing it en masse, get help, but don't change your technique!

You did... and thanks to you both!

After seeing the results Coheed got with the Horticubes germinating wild chile seeds I had to try them myself... sowed wild seeds on the 3rd, started getting radicles on the 5th and should get the first hooks later today or tomorrow. I'm sold! Especially for fussy seeds. I wonder if Manzanos would do better in Horticubes? I won't be trying it this year though, because I already have a healthy Manzano seedling and the OW plant.

Stay safe out there miz Annie... lord knows I wouldn't want to be out there on a steep and muddy slope with a chainsaw...
