Beer. I stole that word from Texas Blues. All good bbq pics must be accompanied by pics of beer being consumed while making said bbq. It's in the rules.

The term hosky is indeed a beer reference albeit used mainly by Americans of Euro descent that live mainly in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota...don'tcha know! I'd have to Wiki to get the real lowdown...

I see, perhaps you missed my update from my grow log....:) Here is a snipit...

If the picture looks foggy to you, it's cause it is. Actually, smokey. I'm smoking some ribs and a butt. Yum. This is a slightly better pic than the other one I showed for the Habanero.

That is a dead soldier consumed during the prep of the BBQ. You can infer the rest :)

We even made the best buttermilk biscuits tonight. Best I have ever had.
 
Thanks TB, here are the biscuits. Seriously, best ever man. You can tell the difference between the first batch and second. Second on the left, first ones we rolled out too thin...

By the look of that clean white bone at the end I'd say a touch overdone, but don't shoot me!!! I could be wrong.

@THP great catch. Though, you'd never guess overdone when you ate them, so they're probably right on that line. The foil ripped or supm when I had them in the smoker, all the juices were gone when I opened the foil. Sux man. But, they came out just fine. Thank goodness for fat, can I get an amen?! :)

We'll be workin on a fennel slaw, and a pulled pork style sammy in a while. Any ideas for another side, a quick easy side that is...?
