Nice, harvest! Which wood did you use for the early and black Jalapenos?
Apple wood, I cannot wait to try the powder in the next day or so! It might become on of my powders for sale...taste tests will tell.

I am shocked how big they are and they appear to be still growing. I think you are right about a helper and that is only 2 of 5 rows for today's update!

Here is another Giant Bhut, different plant.

Turns out this big bhut is actually a yellow bhut. I'll take a picture of the ripe pod tomorrow! Everything it changing and I love it!!!

How many White Hab plants are you growing? I made powder last year from Half doz Peruvian plants, a few Snow Habs and Bullet habs......It took awhile to get a decent amount of powder. It sure is tasty though...

Greg

I have 3 and the first pull was over 150, I have about 500+ still on the 3 plants and tons of flowers. I want to say a single plant last year fetched me over 1000 pods.

What do those White Habs taste like? I have some Peruvian White Habs growing but they haven't set any pods yet. Also what would you rate the heat at? Hoping my set some soon, they're the ones I most excited about.

I think they have great taste. I love them on everything. I used 3 last night soaked in lime juice on some fresh tacos. I think they are hotter than my orange and inline with the Chocolates.

Small pull from 8/23. This is from the plants I have in main area across 5 rows. Empty tags equal no ripe pods. I figured it was an easy way for me to look at a picture moving forward and see what is where.
Glad to see the white habs doing their thing, we really use those in so many things when cooking.

Got the package in the mail after I got home from work Chris. Thanks so much! The powders look and smell great... especially the smoked black jalapeno powder. I'll definitely be using that in my next recipe that calls for chipotles!

I tried a piece of the Naga Morich second from the left, and it lit me up good! I put the fire out in about 5 minutes with a can of Foster's, but the afterglow warmed the cockles of my heart for a good half an hour afterwards. I'm thinking that'll make a great base for some sauce! Cheers

Nice pull, JoynersHotPeppers. Those Early Jalapeno's are quite big and fat in comparison from what I've seen from this variety. Grande looks... well grande :) Did you happen too see my PM by any chance?

Wow, not sure how I missed this amazing glog! Maybe 'cause there's about a bazillion of them now, LOL! Anyway, very professional photography, and monster sized pods! Great job!!!

Thank you for the kind words, I was very late to going this board and starting a GLOG. Long time stalker but recent poster. :)
