Chris, those are looking great. What is the total quantity of your more popular plants? Are you just planning on a few or do you need a dozen or more to make enough powder for the demand?

What is listed is all I am growing of those types other than the OWs and the 5 I started in Nov. I still need to start all my annuum, maybe in a few weeks.

Are 24) Chocolate Unknown and 33) Mystery Chocolate two different plants?

Glad to see you giving Bahamian Goat and Fatalii a chance. I don't recall seeing those last year!!!! Can't wait for Applewood Smoked Bahamian Goat and Cherry and Alderwood Smoked Fatalii!! Summer 2013 powder season is going to be great.

24) is from someone here on the board, I have their name (HellDozer(THP)listed on my sheet. 33) is the mystery chocolate that goes with the mystery wine I grew last year. Pretty sure they are not close to the same but then again no idea what my last year’s mystery wine or chocolate will be this year!

I gave many new ones a chance this year, especially the Thai plants. I am going to test sample smoke just about everything this year to find what lends itself most to certain woods and being smoked.

Let me know if youi need a Smokey Matrix Powder Tester. Tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.

I have open jars of Joyner's powders at home and in the orifice. That naga morich is HOT. Love how the snappy bite is similar in the fresh and dried morich peppers. I am now adding powder to most of my meals!
For most hot sauces, I now have to apply both powder and sauce to get the correct heat level. BOOM!

Third set of true leaves.......they're starting to spring into action.
The Red Brain's are an amazing producer, the plants continue to fill up through the end of the year...

Finally got around to checking out your '13 glog. Six pages already! It's still January and I'm already falling behind on glogs.

Your pictures are amazing as always!

I had no idea there were so many Thai varieties.

I may have to check out this smoked jalapeno powder that everyone is raving about. I have a few powder blends that have supers in them, but they last me forever, since I can only tolerate a little pinch at a time. The jalapeno powder sounds usable for cooking for the family.

Anyway, your grow is coming along nicely, and I like how organized you are. It's good to see a fellow OCD'er.

Thanks highalt, every year I learn something new and try to improve. I love growing so it is hard for me not to be meticulous. The smoked Jal blend is amazing, I am looking forward to new creations in 2013. I am glad others are enjoying the powders.

As always, thanks for dropping by the GLOG!
