Great pics Charles. The choco and yellow Bhuts are looking very good. Wish I did more Bhut varieties this year. Making my list for 2015.

I love bhuts more than most peppers...

Here's a straight Red Bhut, these are going to be very nice:

These Yellow Bhuts tend to put on some length right away:

Everything looks killer!! I agree with the bhuts from all the peppers I tried last year bhuts were in my top.

My season isn't going too well and I'm deciding to put a bhut or something in a hydro rig.

Rom (Solem22) sent me some red ones last year and really kicked my arse, but I still like them. I wish to try new varieties this year.

Thanks Walt.  Sorry to hear that things aren't working out... I hope there are some identifiable causes you can avoid next year...

I have more seed than I'll ever use, so let me know if you're looking for anything in particular.  Although if you're looking for Dorset Naga or some of these other bhuts, you might want to wait until the end of the season when I'll have some fresh seed...

Pods are looking great Charles!  I see a lot of string... Special cross attempts for next season or just isolated pods?

Have a great week!

Mike

Hey Mike, I use the string for different things, some are crosses, some are isolated... ;)

Ahhh...your secret is out! I just need some of that string! Tie it all over my plants and they're all crossed and isolated! With enough string I think I can get through 6 or 7 F-gens in like three weeks!!! Lol

You sure are a connoisseur of great Bhut/Naga pod shapes...fantastic looking pods brother!

Haha, yes, you're on to me...  I'm pretty happy with my varieties this year... can't wait to eat 'em!

Ok, I'm usually a stickler for names.  I grew out some seed of this variety I obtained from someone else.

Here's how mine turned out in 2013:

After seeing this article, it just has to be Guwahati:

I'm not growing those this year, but I think a few other people have seed of that cross... let me know if you want me to point you to them...

that was prolly me ;) I obtained those from someone here at THP as well.

Woah that was a catch-up and a half, Charles! But not that I didn't enjoy every hour of it. ;)

Amazing as usual, mate! Fair bit I wanted to comment on but I'm not going back through now....

One thing I did especially want to ask, though....

Are they squirrel whacking sticks? :D

haha, no, they're too quick for that!

But they are somewhat related to squirrels, I use the bamboo sticks to support the plants while they get adjusted to the bigger pots, otherwise they do tend to get a little lopsided if a squirrel or bird jumps on them...
