Thanks for looking. Will post more pics when I get a chance. Happy growing everyone

Cool looking pods Devan! It's nice to know what the Red Lima Rocoto pods look like when I finally get the ones you sent large enough to flower and bear. Probably not this season as slow as the Pubes grow, but I'll do my level best to OW the plants in preparation for next season. Cheers!

thanks rick, next year we'll get you some clones a little earlier so you don't have to OW if you don't want to. hit them with some ice water to encourage earlier bloom

Interesting tip... how would you apply the ice water? How much and how often? Have you tried it yourself?

Hi Rick it's something I read while researching my rocopica plant. It makes sense and I think it's why I have pubescens pods so early this year. I was watering them with ice cold water while indoors and they were putting off flowers at just a few weeks old. I just water like normal only used very cold tap water.

On Devil's Dust ... You Ain't Right ... WTF.
Hot enough for you? :)

Can you give me the quickie rundown on using these shrooms in the next 2-3 days ...

I'm going to be having some tacos, but after that, I'd like to use them w/ my next duck breast experiment and I'm really not all that familiar w/ working from dried one's ...

Do I rehydrate in some cold water, or ? ...

Muchas Gracias (in advance) ...

pour some hot water over them, cover and let sit for 30 minutes. Then use just like any fresh mushroom.Save/use the liquid. Or if braising something or making a stew/soup etc you can just toss them right into the pot.  Also as we talked about you can spin them around in the coffee grinder and use the powder in/on anything you want to add some umami to.

Nice updates. Mushrooms and Rocopica look especially good! Are the CAP455 a baccatum?
Thank you.yes the CAP 455 is a baccatum and a really awesome one at that. no heat at all and excellent flavor, crisp and juicy.

Here's a couple of pics- someone mentioned it was sold as kaleidiscope at one point but my pods seem to be larger and different shape.
