Good morning all!

Since we've got a lot of cookin fools here at THP I wanted to share this with y'all.

Tacos Everyday has had a Lucky Dog Hot Sauce give-away and contest in the pipeline for some time now. It starts today and goes through the end of February.

You can see how to enter at the link below & the prize is a 4-pack of Lucky Dog Hot Sauce to whomever can show me the best taco!

I know some of you aren't on Twitter, so hopefully you're on Instagram. Use Instagram or Twitter with the proper hashtag,

The winner will receive a bottle each of Purple Label, Dia del Perro, Pink Label and Black Label! Woohoo!

Indeed - those will be the hashtags to use on Twitter or Instagram so that we (the judges) can determine who's taco made us the hungriest.

(by the way, by "taco" I mean "delicious mexican tortilla open faced or folded sammich" - it is not a euphemism, so put that thing away ladies...)

Bout to get in my belly in 10 minutes! Changed my mind and forgot I had Martin rolls handy so a cheeseburger it is!

Yeah Heath hit me up, I'll be doing plenty of tacos so no worries there. Maybe a special sauce will be used.  :shh:

Truly any kind of taco. 
 
Here's a short FAQ I put together from questions I've received through various means: 
 
Q: Can I record a video of me taco-ing (paraphrasing)?
A: No - this is a photo contest. Level playing field. If you'd like to get all Ansel Adams and go B&W making a taco plate at yosemite, while hanging from a jumar off of the face of half dome, have at it (and hey - bonus points for mad skillz!) but no video, please.
 
Q: I'm not big on Mexican food. Can my taco be anything I want?
A: Your parents have failed you, and I will cry myself to sleep tonight empathizing for a fellow human who isn't nearly moved to tears by a perfectly cooked carnitas platter as mankind was intended. That said, it is truly a free for all - so long as your taco fits the basic requirements described (baked, fried or flat-iron grilled with tortilla and filling) in a shape most would recognize as a "taco shape", it's on. Want to make a brie, strawberry & nutella desert taco with a waffle cone shell? Knock yourself out. Or perhaps a breakfast taco tickles your fancy....or maybe an Indian tandoori taco - that's ok too. Literally everything is on the table. The important thing is that it looks good, the recipe sounds good, and the photo is composed well enough to make the judges hungry. And it's got to be a taco.
 
Q: Who will be judging this taco-a-thon (again, paraphrasing)
A: The panel will consist of the folks at tacoseveryday.com, myself, a friend of mine who is a catering chef (who's instructions will be to put heavier weighting or scoring on the recipe) and potentially a 4th, another chef (I have yet to recruit/secure their taco-spertise for this)
Ps - if you are not planning on participating, but you have interest in being one of the judges of this competition, I would welcome applicants for 1-2 positions as "THP Guest Judges" - you'd be required to judge all entries from 1-5 in 2 categories: Recipe, Style Points & 1-4 in Photo appeal. Please PM me and tell me why you are uniquely qualified to judge a taco contest in 500 words or less.
