Year of the Ghost 2019

So after trials & tribulations of last years grow this year will be a year of pirates because of all the Bhuty

Aerogarden seed starter and seedling kratky area cleaned and ready. Seeds hit the 3% peroxide soak before tomorrows introduction to seed start

Nope, when I initially made the holes I used a 3/4 paddle bit and the roots do get thick but a little pinch and flip and everything comes out like butta

I'm really like the areogarden, just need them so slowdown some (out of town for 10 more days). Not sure my wife wants to mess with the root madness going on.

Update time: Read up on beneficial fungi in soil so of course I buy the $50 bag of it
Seedings starting to fill up AeroGarden finally after the incident :flamethrower:
Hoping this unlocks some nutes for my babies cuz some of the outdoor plants are a hurting.
Plants seem to be doing ok, they are thirsty when I get home from work usually cuz they are drinking too much during the day. :beer:

Topping is coming real soon and decided to try some experiments, chamomile soak on my 2 hardest Bhuts Yellow and White.

Soaked a bunch of new peppers from GIP: Violet Sparkle, Major pain x Yaki, Aji White lightning, Purple Tobago Seasoning, BOC x Aji Pineapple, and Scotch Brain. Stuffing Scotch Bonnet P.LVR and Aji Dulce used in Sofrito on the way baby :fire: :metal: :fire:

Good work, Gipper! Plants looking good, and the
rooting cuttings seem to be on the right path.
 
I'm using the Extreme products as well.  I use
their Azos for seedlings, and the Mykos for
up-potting at six weeks. I don't use the wettable
type, just mix the other powder into the soil
when transplanting.

Nice Paul, I didnt intend to buy that one but was in a hurry and it was the only bag besides the $200 bag so I said what the heck.
No cuttings by the way, there will be when I top some this weekend though.
 
I was looking on Amazon after you posted that...not sure my wife would appreciate me buying that right now but something to consider, though  I may try and find some cheaper options as well too. It was $59CDN so around $44US for that particular bag.

I did find the bags that arent wettable powder and are like $20 US. Probably the less murderous route if the sweet pea found out

Nice plants, no I dont use super thrive because I transplant to soil with Kratky double cup so plants get shocked less if at all. Use what you got at your disposal lol, the only thing different Im using is the Mykos on the roots and transplant soil. Those roots are sick, gonna have to be real delicate buddy. What nutes you using?
 
I had used some rapid rooter plugs with seeds and it was pretty slow till I saw what you did with the heating mat. I had an old reptile heating mat that wasn't being used and just sat it under the Areogarden. Seemed to work, most seeds took, but the ones that didn't I put some of my victims of culling in there (kinda their second chance on life, and they took advantage). I've been using the Areogarden nutes that came with it. In my double cups I have Budda Grow, but those roots are just now getting through to the 2nd cup.
 Showed a buddy the pic and he thinks It might be to many roots for the cup and might want to go to a 1-gallon container. Just winging it and playing around.

Lol thanks, Im just playing around myself with the methods. I dont like transferring to straight soil and letting them grow to the 2nd cup, leaving 1-2 roots in the 2nd cup helps them adjust faster IMO
